SIFE
  What is SIFE?

    It’s a non-profit organization that provides the opportunities of real world business involvement for university students. It shows that our community, our country and our world need the help from creative and passionate students. And it proves that the students can do something for a better life of the people around the world. Every year, the SIFE students throughout the 1,200 campuses carry out projects that aim at educating people with market economy practices, igniting people’s entrepreneurial enthusiasm, and calling for socially responsible business conducts, providing necessary management, finance, communication technological skills. A single project changes the life in our community, thousands of projects of all SIFE teams change the world.

  Why are we doing SIFE?  

   The concept of SIFE is the important factor behind our initiative to do the SIFE projects.

    And the benefits we can get through involving in SIFE projects keep us going on. As university  students, we receive the well-designed in-class education, but never get chance to put the theories in the books into real world practices. And SIFE creates such a stage for us. Through doing SIFE projects, which are sometimes very difficult to get implemented due to all kinds of external factors, we have enhanced our communication skills by making people understand what we are doing, and reinforced the business education we received, and most importantly, we have got to know more about our economy and our society. We used to know little about the importance of teamwork, but now as a team working closely on what we want to achieve, we come to realize the power of a cooperative team under effective leadership. 

    To make it clearer what we can get by doing SIFE, I list the following benefits:

   How to be a SIFE team or SIFE student? 

    University students who are currently enrolled can join the school’s SIFE team if you do have such a team on campus. 

    If your university doesn’t have a team now, you can be the one to set up such a team. You may think you don’t know how to set up a team and how to draw up the plans and implement the projects, the USST SIFE team is always willing to give you a hand on that.
